My older brother had an '88 Firebird Formula with the 305 and WS6 package. It was the first car I ever drove and I thought it was awesome!

I now have more faith in my decision to buy the V6 than ever. Today I had to rush my nine year old son across town to the dr. (Immediately) For the first real time I drove it HARD. Gassing it at every light, dipping in and out of traffic, and breaking hard. The car responded amazingly. I'm sure the SS would have put it to sleep, but the V6 responded to the strain and abuse magnificently. We made it the faster than I could have imagined and my son is fine. Thank you Chevy!

Well technology has gotten us to a point where even 4 cylinder cars are making more power than most V8's of that era and getting over 3 times the fuel mileage doing it, I don't think it will happen any time soon.

The camaro is definitely not cheaper (disregard all discounts)
mustang base v6 $22,200

camaro base v6 $24,245

The camaro is the sexier of the two, but not everyone goes for looks.
Performance wise the LS3 is great, but the mustang is the overall better performance for the money (both v6 and v8 \ cheaper and faster)

As long as you're happy with your decision, thats all that matters, but can't deny that facts are facts.

the only way to buy a v6 camaro is with the m6... i have seen ford mustangs in the past and the current one.. fords interior lacks in so many areas. everything on the old mustang felt cheap plastic... im just not a fan of the ford interiors...

Damn. I just checked true car value. I stand corrected on the price differential. Even still, with the small extra you are putting down on the Camaro I think it is more than worth it options wise. Stereo alone is worth it. The stock Mustang stereo is garbage.

That reminds me how terrible the Shaker 500 was in my Mustang...

I had the GT too with the supposed upgraded Shaker, 5 disc changer. It defiantly wasn't winning any audio prizes for quality.

Lol those were my reasons exactly...I was torn between a 350z or a Camaro though, I didn't want a Mustang because there's too many as it is!!! I got the Shark Car
