Kendall Chevy: Call for Price. Dealer is down South from my location.

Few other dealers in FT Lauderdale, has call for prices. Again this on my area. from several dealers. So I guess if I was in the market I need to go 3~6 hours of of my city to order one. That's madness to me.

Now find a NEW GT500 for that price. I'll wait.

I've never been a Ford fan and now I know why. They bitch the SS v. GT race was unfair cause the SS had more power, now they bitch cause the GT500 didn't win by enough, WTF? Now they can't get them at MSRP within 10 miles of their house. JEEZ, sound like a little kid, but, but, but.... the race posted was close, the SS cost less, next thread.

Get off your high horse, Eddie. You've never been a "Ford fan" because your were likely brought up in an environment where GM>Ford. That's always been the reason for 90% of the brand-loyalty that exists and will likely be in the future. The back and forth on these kind of topics would not even exist unless the "GM" were not just as touchy about the outcomes of these types of comparisons.

I hope they never produce a GT500 at the Camaro SS price-point, because I would not want to sacrifice things like build quality, a hand-built, forged internals engine, proven drivetrain and the stuff that comes stock on every GT500 made (i.e leather seating, upgraded interior, premium audio, subtle-yet-distinctive styling, etc.) just to get it to that cost threashold.

Please just go back to your ford forumns. What eddie said was pure truth, thats all everyone has acted like. When they compared the SS Vs GT your mustang fans bitched and when this race went down and the GT500 didn't blow the socks off the SS you guys start saying other things. Just do us a favor and leave our forums.

I've been here, on this forum, longer than you have, so maybe you should go back to whatever forum you've been lurking on before you showed up.

As for "saying things", I think if you go back and look, I was one of the first to say, long before the comparo was ever done by a magazine, that a stock GT500/Camaro SS race, in the real world, would be closer than people would think given the power differential. Likewise, there are going to be some SS owners who are going to be greatly disappointed when they outcome of their race with a GT500 does not turn out to be as close as this particular instance.

Somebody had a full bowl of 'whiny biatch' this morning. I thought forums were public, and besides some people can actually afford or like more than one car at a time........

I don't care if you have been here longer or not, and quite frankly I have a hard time keeping up with all the ford guys posting all over these forums just look in this thread and you will see what I'm talking about. So if you said that great but control your other little buddies that like to spout off about the GT500 as these all great machines ever whenever they get a chance. Thats all I'm saying.

In all reality if you go to the track watch all the stock 500+ HP cars run.
GT500's, Vipers, Z06's
with street tires they ALL run low 13's-high 12's

And if Chevy ever makes a Z28 with over 500 they'll be in that group also.

meh, i can find overpriced gt500's too

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...5%3A2%7C39%3A1

that car, according to fords website, stickers for $49,895...so by using your logic we can say that all gt500's are being sold $5k over sticker. see how it goes both ways? that gt500 was in NC too, can't wait to see what they go for in miami

Lol The Fanboys are strong in this one. Its people like these two who gives this forum the rep is has. BTW N. FT Lauderdale and Boca, and Westpalm is further that 10 miles. W Palm is a Hour from where I live...I just showed examples.

Guess that's why I am glad I own a Ford. I do not have to drive 1~6 hours to another county to find one at a reasonable price.

While I am at it....its even funnier that the people talking crap have less posts and in some cases do not even OWN a camaro..... go figure.

You might not care, but I do. Just because someone else posting here owns a Mustang, it does not mean that we are all "buddies" or hold the same opinions about all things automotive. All you see is a GT500 in my signature and assume I'm a Ford fanboi who's only here to "defend" the Mustang or Ford in general. (BTW, my previous car was a 2006 GTO and I can probably point out the good and bad points of that particular car as well as you could.) I have no control over what anyone else posts here any more than you can control what I post.

I'm sorry you have a problem with all the "Ford" guys posting in threads on the site, but until the mods/admin make it a closed forum to Camaro owners only, then you'll just have to deal with it. I agree with the mods, however, if a user, whether they drive a GM product, Ford or any other make/model, is simply here to "stir the pot" then by all means, the site doesn't need them.

eh... some of these "mustang fans" bring quite a bit to these forums in the form of thought out discussions... don't exclude them because their ideas aren't your own. all i ask is that you mustang fans, at least once in a while, accept that the camaro is just as awesome to us as your car is to you
