Yea local economies probably effect where cars are being shipped too. I noticed that since San Antonio has the hottest economy in America right now that the car prices have gone way up and are more expensive than Dallas and Houston right now. Our unemployment I think is half the national average. The gougers are out in force here.

If The fine gentleman cannot do anything for me, or push the numbers, then I may have to go elsewhere and make a new order. And then, it will be another waiting game. Delivery in the Winter? In Colorado? That will truly truly SUCK! :(

And yet, I also understand it somewhat, let the high end rich dealer's that sell the big numbers, get the early opportunity. I understand. Keep the Small town quiet dealers small and quiet.

DAMN. And yet, this is the way it has to go. And I have to wait.
I knew I should have ordered it last December!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent.

We are on controled allocation this consensus cycle. Next month it will go to turn and earn, the dealers that turn will earn allocation, dealers that hold them on the lot will not.

Fleet1, so starting in August those dealers that are selling cars and taking orders will get higher allocation numbers than those that dont sell. I ordered late (7/4/09) thanks to the wife wanting to wait, wanted to order in MARCH and am on a wait list of about 11.

Does that mean that if the dealers have allocations left with orders actually filled, then they will receive presidence? I am 5th on the list at my dealership and the dealer told me when I ordered that he had allocations left, but they weren't getting picked up...honestly, he was a bit hacked off. The 4 in front of me are 2SS's and he said that mine (a 2LT) might get pulled sooner because of the V6. Is there any truth to that?

Newy,

Thank you for your service. I was eligible for the SE Asia thing, however, I was fortunate enough to have a deferment.

I have a 2SS Inferno Orange automatic at 3000 (accepted by production control) you may want to consider. We sell at MSRP.

From what I am noticing about car allocations and deliveries North East is getting the shaft. Just an observation.

Wareal . Would love the V8 but I am old school and a Zapper was an RS not SS . Don,t want SS markings just want it as close to the 69 I never got . Besides Hot Rod magizine says the 2LT runs with the Mustang GT , nothing to be ashamed of ! I know I will be pleased with it , I have every option available ordered .

Have you provided your order number to "the Viz" to see what your status is. Is it still in 1100?

Also ordered from a small dealership on 4/1 and took delivery on 6/29 - I don't think it's a small vs big dealership thing - maybe your dealership just sucks!

OK my turn - I ordered in October and I had a small dealer very close to my house - I placed the order and I was number two to do so. I waited till June 2nd and my friends were picking their cars up and mine was still at 1000. I finally got the dealership to tell me WTF is going on. He said quote UN quote " I do not have allocation". Allocation is given by the zone managers. Each zone manager looks at the dealerships statistics or what they have sold in the past. If very little then expect a long ass wait. I canceled went to a way bigger dealership who promised me allocation. In five days I went from 1000 to 2500 and to 3000 in two weeks and with a build date of 17 of August. I don't care who you know and who you are Friends with cause it will not help. I have very strong ties with GM and it don't work at all. Well sorry to bear the bad news but I am right with you soooo it well worth the wait but its does require a wait.
