Then I'll be just another victim to the road ... eh?

It's so funny seeing some of these responses. Not really sure who the "adult" or more "mature" is anymore.

No need to bash, unless you feel insecure/jealous/godknowswhat, whether this is a "troll" thread or not. Straight question, direct answer back. Easy as that. Geez...

As for the OP, details and stupidy aside, given that I'm 6'3 and barely fit in my 2010 (with no sunroof), I suggest you go sit in them. Given the little visibility, it may be tough to see out of the car or sit comfortably. So sit in all the cars you're looking into (in any dealer) and that'll help you pick.

Thank you for your wisdom. How do you and traffic lights work out can you see them good?

Yes I can, but I have to have the seat laid back quite a bit to get maximum visibility.

One more question not to get personal but like can you get a full grasp of the steering wheel like a 9 and 3 with the seat laid back or only one hand

what is it about kids that they can't punctuate? Use ellipses, the return key or just a space bar - anything......

it is so selfish to make people read this crap....

I think that you should get a truck instead. I am 6'2 and I also barely fit within the Camaro. I really think that it depends on your body type. I have long legs and for me I believe that is the issue. I fit in the Camaro slightly better than I fit in the Solstice. In both cases, I have to get my legs past the steering wheel. I had been driving for over 30 years before I bought the Solstice. I would not have bought it had I not sat in one, test drove it and got very comfortable with the space limitations and had the driving experience to drive safely in it. I would not bought one for for a new driver who had the same issues. Now regarding the truck, I have a co-worker who is 6"10. He like me has long legs and he can fit comfortably in his truck as do I. For a new driver you should give yourself every opportunity. Be comfortable when you drive. Have good visibility. So get something that you can reasonably grow into. Being a taller person, not every car will be a good fit for you. Unfortunately, that is the way it is in life. Err on the side of caution and be safe.

Lastly, you came on this forum for advice. A lot of people on here are your elders and I assert would not like to see you hurt. So with that in mind, listen to the advice. You may not always like the advice, but that is also part of life. You take the good advice you are given and make a mature decision.
