I can understand the "guts" thing. It woulda turned my guts to Jello.

That's great stuff! I may add that to my "after the salt flat season" list.

I'm really lookin forward to runnin mine in the "130 Club." Two runs between 130.000 and 139.999 required. I've tried for that for the last 3 years and came up short for a number of reasons...like trying it in a 2009 Colorado pickup with the 4-banger motor (top speed - 118), breaking the pinion yoke as I shifted into 4th in my Monte Carlo at what the GPS said was 137 mph (bad stuff happens when the driveshaft starts flailing around under the car and tries to get inside with ya) and some phantom ignition problems that wouldn't let the motor pull over 3000 (best speed with a sick motor, 124 mph.)

When I get back from almost 2 weeks on the salt, I'll get to some of the other stuff that's on hold. I've read thru Nathan Moreno's "Cleaning the Engine Bay" thread (and his quest for 1.5 Gs lateral thread) and now I'm totally brain damaged.

Makes my feeble efforts seem pretty shoddy.

Installed the Rx catch can today that I got from a fellow C5 member...had to get a little creative with the mounting cause it came out of a v6.[IMG]

Drove it! I haven't been driving it nearly as much in recent weeks because I got a new WRX. I definitely had to get used to the clutch again. They are two different animals! I'm going to need to wash it soon to get ready for the local Cars & Coffee next week.

Installed orange and black OEM leather seats (front and rear) and also my Chrome 20" RS Style Wheels and Nitto Tires. Wheels are 20x9 all around now.

Learned doing both of these jobs suck when the temp is 100 degrees outside.

Started fitting my new Nickey Chicago Stinger Hood. I have the reverse tilt hood installed so have to do some modifying to make it fit.

Installed 3D fender vents. Made me sick to cut holes in the car. My neighbor who owns a 2011 'vert came down to watch with his wife, she cringed when I drilled the pilot holes
