Just went to the dealer today to put my stripes on and the parts dept. Guy messed up hood stripes twice and has no more spares. He put back ones on fine so now I have to drive around for a couple days with only rear stripes.

the truck ones are easy, once you get the spoiler off, the roll in the hood....now thats the bitch....we have it figured out after a few now...Rob

How did the installation get messed up you guys cars? Mine were placed too close together and the rear edge of the vinyl didn't line up with the rear edge of the hood.

Our dealer was really cool, he called in a pro rather than have his own shop take care of it. One shot only, it was done right the first time. He didn't charge us extra, which he shouldn't anyway, but it was the smartest thing I have heard of from any of the dealers on this site I think ....

Mine were perfect, but my dealer claimed they call in outside contractors to do it.

Damn it would be so frustrating for me, I would never attempt it myself and Im a do-it-yourselfer on most things.
