I was planning it as a day cruise. But if a person wants to find lodging down there...that will be their choice. This time of year, it may be hard though.

John, it will be good to have you and your wife along too! I'm going to be checking with a few places in Waterton for lunch. I do have one place in mind, but will look at some others as well.

Figures that's the weekend I'm helping my dad clean up some junk. Last weekend him and I are free before that dreaded 'w' word. Post plenty of pics afterwards - I live vicariously through them.

I've started a head count for the Waterton Cruise. We need to try to firm this up so we can plan on lunch. If your name isn't on the list...let me know. If it's on the list and shouldn't be...let me know. If the number of people attending is wrong...let me know. Also, if you know of people with other muscle cars who are coming, give me their names so we can add them on here as well. LOL

There is a restaurant in Waterton that I am considering for lunch as 1) the food is pretty good and 2) there is a fairly big space for parking. Robd, Smarbrit and myself have eaten there in the past and I think they will back me on the food and service. Great atmosphere.

Driving down there is a pullout on the road before we get to Waterton. It overlooks the land and you can actually see Chief Mountain in the US from there. Could be a good place for some pictures? Before that, admittedly, there isn't a lot of pullouts for pics.

What to do in Waterton? There is the Red Rock Canyon and the drive to the canyon is a nice one. I do advise sticking to the speed limit though as there are bind turns/corners and tourists tend to wander the road as they are driving open mouthed at the sites. There is Cameron Lake. Another nice drive although the road can be rough in places. Cameron Falls, located in town and quite the paradise for anyone who has never seen it. And of course, there is Waterton Lake. Then the town itself is a site as well.

So let's get these numbers firmed up.
