I'd heard that the center caps on the rims are going to be pure silver with gold insets on the chevy emblems. I'd also heard that the tires are being made of a special compound that no matter how burn-outs you do, they'll never wear out and they'll also adjust to weather conditions.

The Camaro will have 6 engines. 5 will basically be the same except for the number of cylinders. the I4 will have a displacement of 3.0L and will be basically 1/2 of an LS2. The V6 will be an LS2 with the last two cylinders choped off. Z28 will be the LS2. SS will feature a 7.5L V10. ZL1 will feature a 9.0L V12. OSMG (Oh Sweet Mother of God) will have a double-supercharged 21L W24 based off of the LS7, 2 V12 variants sharing a single crankshaft, each with their own supercharger. Power output will be unknown for this engine, the dyno's at GM only go up to 2000 hp before they explode.

I heard this from a friend of a friend who talks to the dog of a guy who knows a person who empties the trash at GM's corporate headquarters. I regard this info as holy scripture. I want my OSMG Camaro!

for those who don't know GM is working on new camaro called LK (legend killer) it's rumored to have a new engine nobody know anything about other than an estimated power around 800HP

My insider connections at GM headquarters have just informed me about the first officially sponsored Camaro to be released next July. It will be the official Caterpillar Camaro, featuring a twin turbo diesel truck motor, 6 20-inch rims, extra large tractor tires, and enough torque to tow a fully loaded semi 12 seconds in the quarter mile, although so far there have been real problems with controlling that torque in a straight line. The exhaust will operate like that of a truck and feature both side and upward exit as options. A stage 2 kit will come from GMPP featuring a nitrous oxide tune that will allow additional forced induction. Caterpillar is convinced that this will be the ultimate off-roading machine, sponsoring the first off the assembly line to be a competitor in demolition derbies and monster truck off-roading competitions. Expect to see the Camaro dominate both asphalt and dirt tracks next year.
