A lot of different factors drive the price. i.e. options, mileage, condition, new or used. For a low mileage used 2013 with manual, NAV and suede you should be around $50,-$51,000. For new, if you can find one, you should be around $53000-$54000

Welcome to Camaro5!

Glad to hear you're considering a ZL1! Fantastic choice. You might also find special offers and incentives here. Just type in your vehicle choice and zip code and search away!

Yes it will lower the price of the 2013's which was considered in the pricing I mentioned above. Dealer wholesale on 2013 is $48-$50,000 for used. The dealers that have new 2013's left over will sell them for a good price. Mine stickered for $59345 and I paid $53750. Now there is an extra $500 rebate so you can get it for around $53000.

While having my oil changed there last week I noticed that Mark Christopher in Ontario had both a 2013 black, and 2013 white ZL1 sitting on the floor. I am sure they want to deal on them?

First, this is the new age, don't hesitate to expand your search. You're in Cali, big state. You might have just a hair more headache purchasing out of state, but go up and down the state on the internet looking at dealerships and put a list of available 13 ZL1's together, don't forget to include transmission type, color on your list, and all contact information on that dealership.

Now, which transmission, just divide the list based on which one you want. Next, do you care about color, maybe you don't care at all because they all look good, or maybe there are two or three colors you prefer, but refine the list based on that. Now you have your list.

Email every dealer on that list, tell them you are looking at X number cars and have emailed X number dealerships and will buy the lowest priced car on that list right now.

I think that will get you a good price. Once you get your prices, you can print a few off and go look at them, make sure the one or two you like aren't damaged or whatever, not like you're committed to it just because they gave you an internet price.

Oh, and, all of these bastard salespeople are the same, when you get there with your quoted price, they will most likely give you some crap excuse why they cannot give you that price, so have your stack of other emails from other dealers in your hand and walk, but let him know you are going to buy the one right down the street. If he says ok on the price great, if not, give him the finger and hit the road.

Strong arm tactics on car buying, it's all about the thrill of the hunt.

Very true 2012-1822. You also have to consider in Cali we have stringent EPA laws and importing a car form another state can be bad.

You should probably mine your own business because you are the problem. You want the customer to pay the highest price possible but you try to give the illusion that your input matters and can help. We all know you're being untruthful dishonest deceitful mendacious duplicitous and deceiving.

'13 ZL1's can be had in SoCal for ~$53K. '14's are hitting the dealers now ~$56K for least optioned model. There's a bunch of '13 leftovers. Try CarGurus...
