That depends on what you're after. Do you want a drag car or just fast DD? For drag, I think the Procharger or Vortech are probably your best bet. For a fast DD, Whipple seems to be the best choice. This is assuming you're not wanting to dump a bunch of $$ into your engine.

Fast DD is what I'm after, with maybe some drag racing. I only have one car so it will have to be drive able and reliable. Top three were Whipple, pro charger, and Maggie, but I'm always hearing contradicting things about each of their designs, plus I can't see why the Maggie is so expensive compared to other TVS2300 blowers. I believe that the Whipple has the highest claims on theirs with 580 WHP with 8.7 psi of boost.

Grab yourself an SLP 2300. That would be perfect. Cheap too!

I'd serious look into that. In not sure what your budget is but they aren't to expensive.

If you have any thoughts down the road about really making power plan according. Don't get a 2300. Whipple or YSI, novi 1500.

I plan on doing just bolt ons and the blower. After that it's time to save for a 6th gen or a C7. While I don't want to spend a ton of money, I don't want to spend $6600 when I can spend an extra $500 and get a better, more reliable blower.

What blower is $6600?

And what's the better, more reliable blower?

I'd look into the TT setup from AGP. that's making around 600 to the wheels on stock L99s. Granted its a little more money IMO it's more reliable.

Sorry I meant $6800 for the SLP and I was talking about the Whipple being better.

Who says the whipple is better? All depends who you ask? All the current superchargers are just as good as the other. They all have pros and cons. You were looking for a good, dd blower. None better than the 2300.
