I actually found it in a Camaro Performance magazine and it looks intriguing.

They actually have oil pan baffles but that is a larger project and I will probably wait on that.

While that does look cool, i'd be Leary of anything that has the ability to restrict my oil flow. You know what would happen if it got stuck closed.

And it seems so easy when we're bagging on GM for having problems. At least they got close enough that it can be fixed with a simple pump upgrade.

Indeed. I know we can all can get caught sometimes by slow thumbs and post whoring. What matters is what gets recorded for posterity's sake!

Yea, I would stroke my motor, um, I mean I would rebuild it.... stronger, better, faster. Just like the 6 million dollar man, only cheaper.

If I did this I would Finally put in an oil pressure gauge too, which I am sorely missing.

Here is the article from Camaro Performers that got me thinking about all this.
http://www.camaroperformers.com/cama...cooler-system/

Besides, the damn stock one leaks like a sieve and if this would fix that as well as cool and add extra oil, well so much the better.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Question, are the stock headers on the LS3 & L99 motor the same? Reason I'm asking is that I know some one that wants to trade their after market headers for my stock ones but I drive a M6 and he has an auto.

The only difference between the LS3 and L99 midpipes is the flexible section on the L99. The log manifolds are exactly the same. It's probably worth a try.
