Sorry you dont like it but I love mine. I actually paid for it and took it off my RS when I traded and installed it on my SS. You can get $75- $100 for it easy. Sell it!

I never understood why anyone would want to accent
their gas fill door by making it stand out from the rest
of the car IMO of course. I don't think they look all that
bad but as soon ad I see one of the custom gas fill doors
my eyes fixate right on it.

My '70 Buick has that. One of the best features in cars that is no longer possible.

My '70 has a solid steel rear bumper and the plate area is recessed. The rear bumper is a battering ram. I have had cars bounce off that bumper several times, including a pickup that rolled 50 feet down a hill into the car. No damage.

Just becasue the Pinto sucked, that shouldn't mean that all cars must suffer

This is how I feel about the whole thing. I think its just one of those really bad auto trends that will disappear. I think its kinda tacky but thats just my opinion. Although i do think it looks pretty decent on some some colors like black cars. To me the more crap you put on a car the more likely its going to look tacky.

You have a higher quality gas tank cover... paint it.

There are many variations to the Synergy Green shade. Be real happy if they can paint it a exact match on the first try.

I agree the outstanding cap draws more attention than I desire.

I like mine. Bought it for $50 from the dealer and they installed it befor I came to pick up my car. It matched the Dusk wheels perfectly.

If only it was like the concept. I wouldn't mind that at all.

I sometimes think about a gloss black cover. Something nicer than the factory plastic one but not blingy... I would want one that is smooth but all I really see are the ones that say Camaro on them.
