Mine has Climate control, its me....sunny and warm out I put the top down and enjoy the natural climate, when its cold or rainy I put the top up and turn on the heat or AC and run them at a temperature I am comfortable. I can adjust the temperature much better to my own taste than any automatic climate control can.

i started this same thread on a different forum. got a lot of replies from people who obviously never had it. No it does not add weight, no it is not complicated or unsafe, No it will not make a price difference for the dealer, no its not one more thing to go wrong (the system now has just as much of a chance). All you do is set it at the temp you are comfortable at and leave it there. It automaticly adjust the temp and fan speed so you can set it and forget it. Most people will not have to touch it again. So if its too complicated for you I hope you never have to turn on your radio because you will kill somebody. You can get climate control in almost every vehicle why not a $40k one.

I should have bought a ZL1

^^Pretty much. It comes in a host of sub-$30k econoboxes, family sedans, etc.

I guess what gets me is that the Camaro stems from the Commodore/G8, which had dual-zone climate control. So I can't believe it would have been that much of an expense for a few sensors and some programming. As I said years ago in another thread, there are plenty of places that could have been used to display the set point temperature, including the radio.

I can live without it, but it would have been a nice to have item, and seems kinda silly not to have it for a car costing as much as this one did.

What I really could have used is memory seats. Again, not rocket science, and the car from which the Camaro is derived has such a feature.

You guys crack me up with your luxury problems. Gotta climate control. Oh I need push button start. Hey why don't we have back-up-camaras? Get f'in real it's supposed to be a muscle car, NOT a luxury car. If you want all that stupid crap! Buy a Caddy.

memory seat would be nice for us fat short leg guys. I like to sit close to the wheel but my ass barely fits and i scratched my steering wheel with the gear I have on my belt for work because I didnt have the seat back far enough. I no longer drive it to work so I dont have that problem now. It would be nice to have these and for the price it should have these but its not a deal breaker.

What, huh. So you're saying a memory seat is needed so your fat ass can fit (your words not mine)? Here's a suggestion, lose weight, problem solved.

no im saying it would be nice because then You can put it back getting in and out and forward to get to the back seat better. but yes losing weight would be the best thing. car would fit like a glove.

Is your car completely stock or have you improved it with some of your own mods maybe?
Why didn't you buy a car that already had it stock? Im not trash talking the camaro I just think that the cc is such a basic thing..

My 1997 Riviera had 'passenger comfort zone'.

Yeah. The air on that side was different from the driver's side. Right, sure it was...3" from the vents.

The only option on my '12 1SS is the stripes. As standard it has:

AM/FM/Satellite radio with CD player
Air conditioning
Heater
Power front seats
Tilt/telescoping steering wheel
Cruise control
Power brakes
Power steering
Power windows
Remote side mirrors
Onstar capable
four wheel disc brakes
Steering wheel radio controls

I'm in the flipping comfy chair with no options at all. Car buyers today are very, very spoiled with all equipment we take for granted

Spoiled?
If we, the customers that buy these things didn't have any demands the manufacturers wouldn't develop new and exiting things. Of course we should demand the highest quality possible for our hard earned cash!
