Did you buy the car new? Are you sure it was never bumped in the front. Even a minor bump could stress the fascia and bend or break supports behind it. It could take a while before the fascia reaches the breaking point and cracks.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I appreciate the support. Unfortunately I doubt Chevy will take the hit on this because my car is out of warranty.
Thanks!

I know right? The ZL1 bumper is what i'm going to get if Chevy doesn't cover this.

I did not buy the car new, however, it did only have 7,000 miles on it and did not appear to have any body damage whatsoever and had a clean carfax.

I have seen several with small cracks right at the corner lines around the headlights. There is a drag video somewhere of a shop car doing like 150 and the whole upper portion of the front fascia gave way and snapped off.

I agree it's defective and even out of waaranty if it's proven to be defective i'm pretty sure they are required by some states not all to replace it.

Wow. That is definitely not your fault; however, since you're out of warranty, best of luck getting it covered.

I can assure you this should not happen.

I can also assure you this is a bigger problem on Dodge Challengers than it is on Camaros.
