Also, couldn't the original owner have gotten the 20's as an option from the dealership? In either event, I was talked into buying an extended warranty, only paid 17500 for the car and its my first Chevy, so I wasn't sure about reliability. Going thru a mid life crisis, recently separated.. The Avalon in the pic behind the car is what I traded in, didn't need a family car anymore.

I used the Tahoe fog light set up and hood spears...both from ebay. It's only been 4 months but haven't had any problems yet.

I got my side stripes from Moproauto, they have been on the cat over a year and no problems.

I put the Tahoe fog lights on mine using gen5diy harness. Love the way it came out and I emailed gen5diy a question Sunday morning and received a reply before noon same day.

I got my fogs from Ofer @ gen5DIY. Had a harness made so I could put a switch inside the car to turn fogs on/off when I want. An LS lite switch does not have press on switch to control fogs. He can make the harness work for what you want. Highly recommended!
I am also running 20s. My LS came with steelies (18s). I have no clearance issues, warning lite issues or speedo out of wack issues.

I got my fog light kit on phastek performance
http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...fog-lights.htm this option is a bit more expensive but the installation is really easy, you dont have to take off the bumper, and it comes with everything you need so you dont need to cut your bezels. you hook them up to your parking lights so they're on whenever ur parking lights are on. ive had mine for about 5 months with no problems ![]() ![]() sorry i dont have better pics, they have a better picture of em on phastekperformance's site |

ok... I am a bit confused... I was going to go with the kit from gen5diy, but the kit from phase comes with the plasma and regular bulbs for the same price... my question is how does the wiring harness work from gen5, do the lights come on with regular headlight function - or whats the advantage to tying them to the side marker lights?

I don't know about Phastec lites. I know ofer will make the harness for how you want your lites to run...it's a plug & play unless you get a switch and the it's really easy to use add-a-curcuit fuse and run the wire to the cabin and place the switch where you want it.
Any help let me know & i"ll send pics...
