No not that,

I hear the rich kid jibe all the time though.

I'm afflicted with a terrible case of not-giving-a-****-itis though, sadly uncurable. I always make a mental note to grab my tax returns and show them later when I set their car alarms off with my exhaust.

Wait, no I don't.

"Privileged" middle class. What's the privilege? I've only heard the term used with upper class never middle.

A couple people in my office driving Traverse's and Volvo's seem to think I'm rich. "Oh it must be nice!" My car cost like 2/3 what their's did and I have 75 month loan. I don't have very many bad habits either.

5 easy steps to owning a Camaro:
1. Get off your ass
2 Get a job and work hard
3. Save money
4. Buy the car
5. Screw all that and marry rich.

What most people can't seem to understand is they could afford one themselves, just have to be willing to make sacrifices and work a little harder here and there. "Privileged Middle Class" lol, I and almost everyone I know that drives one of these cars has worked to get there car.

This is TRUTH. My wifes Traverse cost more than mine did. Well, until about 12hrs after taking delivery and I started ripping stock crap off.

Ok well, kind of de facto leader of my local car group asked me how I afford my toys, I told him I used to have a job where I worked 90 hours a week and made a ton of money.

Truth is I don't get any crap for owning my car, just compliments.

This whole thing about lower middle class, middle class, upper middle class, upper class, I don't get it and I don't subscribe to it. Despite what some on TV might tell you, this is still America, you want to improve your life, that's exactly what you get to do. But it is on you and no one else. There might be some government or other types of assistance along the way, but no one is going to do if for you.

I lost that lucrative job, but no matter, I'm busting my butt at 35 years old to finish my degree and get right back out there. Gonna have to hurry too, need a 6th gen when they come out.

I get a lot of people who hate on me for being 20 and driving a camaro. They call me spoiled and rich.

Little do they know I delivered pizzas since I was 18 to pay for my car. I just had a goal and worked for it. Not really what I call spoiled.

I remember when my junker (the car I used to deliver the pizzas) was in the shop and I had to use my camaro for a week... I got about a 10th of the tips I would normally receive that week. And would get nasty looks from customers when I rolled up in my beautiful ABM. People don't always take it well when their delivery driver has a nicer car than them. Didn't bother me, I just smiled and gave them their food

Guess some people resent having to drive SUVs and minivans because of family, etc. That's their choice. A lot of those vehicles cost just as much as a Camaro.

I guess if I did get that comment, I would say, "Privileged? I'm paying for your healthcare. You can thank me later."

...All in all, I'd say it's a nod to how well the cars look...that is, they look more expensive than what they are....Let the rest wonder...all good.....
