How do the fronts usually look for those that have gone through a set. Wondering if it would be a matter of only ordering rears or not.

I plan to replace rears only and then in a couple of months replace the fronts... will help the budget some. I don't have but a few laps on track on these so YMMV
I will take photos tomorrow... |

I have 27k miles on my stock pirellis. I don't baby it either. Haven't done any track days but been to strip once.
I'm buying new ones next week, but they aren't horrible right now. Can't wait to do some donuts with old ones just before changing.

Yep. If it's your daily driver that seems about right.

I have 2 trips from Florida to El Paso coming in the next 3 months, you think the tires will hold up well. I am debating on either selling the stock tires now (20 miles on them) and getting some new one or just keeping them.

Yea, I bought it while I was in Afghanistan, it has been sitting in my parents garage for the last month and half. I will let you know one I get home and access how the look and what my options are.

Wouldn't blame you for keeping them. Let me know. And thank you for your military service.

You are exactly right on this point. Alex MacDonald was one of the development engineers and told me that the car has to be square (i.e., same size tires). This is a major reason why the 1le handles so well and does not understeer.
