So even better question now? what kind of numbers did you see after installing CAI ? Since I'm putting mine in this weekend. Anyone actually see a difference in reality?

maybe 20mpg. I've heard it can get 30, but I know I'll never find out. didn't buy a muscle car to drive like a sedan.

When I had my V6, I was consistently getting like 17 or 18mpg. All city driving, lights everywhere. Not getting too much worse in my SS now, strangely enough. :/

What's your average fuel economy (v6) ?

50/50 city highway with 22.1 is the norm. i drive all the cars the same way. like a idiot

seriously though. nothing too crazy, just normal driving keeping up with traffic and i get 21.4.

Ya Kleeeb, I was really surprised at the mileage I got on my trip, I was getting ecxellent mileage in the south, but here is Vegas I am so far getting around 17~18, but that is mainly from all these stop lights that I need to get used to again.
I am, however, starting to think that there will really not be that much difference in MPGs in city driving when it comes to comparing V8s to V6s, I am gonna do some research on that one over the next year, because I am starting to consider trading in Lil'Blue in for a 'vert and the V8 just may be int the cards for me.
