XM antenna on Sirius radio?

Would the XM antenna on the Camaro work on a Sirius radio? What's the name of the connector on the XM antenna?

My Sirius radio uses an antenna with a right angle SMB connector.

NO. 2 reasons. The connector is actually a little different and 2, the PDIM has XM software and hardware in it. They are not interchangeable with the Sirius satellites. You can always get the XM with best of sirius package.

My idea was to use the AUX in port for sound so there's no issue with the PDIM. I was hoping to use the built in antenna of the car (with an adatper) rather then wire a new one.

tssradio.com sells an adaptor as well....

That said the XM antenna on this car sucks, and supposedly from what I hear the adaptor doesn't help any at all, reception is worse. I sucked it up and paid for XM instead of Sirius (luckily my 3 free months is up right when my sirius expires), I like Sirius better, but its not worth the trouble. The channel lineup is the same if you get the "best of" package.

I had much better reception with Sirius on the various cars I had it installed on (Including when I mounted the antenna INSIDE the composite bumper on my vette to hide it). Other people here have been complaining about the reception as well.

Our reception has been perfect so far - better then I've had with aftermarket.
We are Sirius subscribers too and switched to XM w/the best of Sirius.
