Dyno'd.....finally!
Well I finally got my car to a dyno to see what it would do with the mods I have. Sorry, no baseline and I'm still waiting to get the printout emailed to me so I can post and see the full numbers. 9.55" crank pulley, air raid cai, FAST 85lb injectors and tsp 2" long tubes w/offroad pipes...put down 632rwhp. Still haven't got my 2.5" upper pulley on and they tried a ported ls3 tb but it freaked out my cars comp and went into reduced engine power so it was pulled back off. Hopefully I'll get the sheet soon to post. Just thought I'd share my results with y'all.

Installed everything myself except for injectors, had Ivan at southwest speed in albq, nm do those and the extra tuning it needed.

Curious though, has anyone had probs installing ported tb on their cars yet? It threw code p1516 and couldn't get around it.

several have installed ls3 90mm TB on their cars, but most seem to do the v-max ported 87mm lsa TB.
I am not a big fan of the ls3 install due to the required reversal of the TB to clear the supercharger drive. This in turn changes the way the TB blade opens, which in theory could affect the drivability of the car. |

Well, curiously enough took it to the dealer and they found a prob....even storing a car in a garage and brand new house you could get rodents. Dealer found that a mouse/rat chewed part of the wiring harness for the tb causing the code:-/

I have had more tuning issues from throttle body codes than any other. I don't tune anything myself, I bring it in to ADM and he adjusts it. I think you would be better off staying with a stock throttle body as long as possible unless your particular tuner has a lot of data on other throttle bodies in the supercharged engine. The stock one will easily support 700 whp. Plus there have been some issues with position calibration when they get ported.

The numbers I found out were 630/627, I have the dyno graph but have had trouble posting. The mods are airaid cai, 9.55" lower and tsp 2" long tubes with offroad pipes plus tuning. Doesn't seem unusual to me. I can email if someone else wants to post it for me???

Say a typical M6 puts down 500ish then 100+ rwhp for 4-5 extra lbs of boost, headers, tuning and cai.
