Well i love hearing about inside stuff and really appreciate the info on this thread.

Now for some reason alot of people are against a new Firebird. I dont know why. Now i know the bird is gone but i think any other product is going to be less exciting than a new Firebird. The GTO was here and was quickly canceled. The stuff pontiac is coming out with today is nice but not exactly the excitement division stuff. The chevelle would be awesome but its my personal opinion that a firebird has more mainstream history and cult following than a GTO or Chevelle. I personally would like to see the Trans Am return but i know its not happening.

So I got to thinking on this one. It seems Pontiac Zetas will be built down under, so that leaves Buick and Caddy. My guess is going to be with Buick. My wishful thinking is that with Buick trying to recapture some kind of a all-ages image and a wider customer base, they can reach back into history namewise and come up with something really cool. Perhaps a V6 called the Skylark, and a nasty V8 called the Grand Sport. Or if they don't want to reach back so deep go with Grand National or GNX(definitely supercharged to keep with the forced induction heritage) and Regal. I think that would be pretty interesting to see, and definitely drop the average new Buick buyers age down(it's like 54 now isn't it?).
