You all saw the e-mail we got today? It looks like we are working during heat 1 and racing during heat 2. So let's try to keep it together this year. We'll park off to the side and we'll ALL go into tech inspection together, so we can all race one after another. Last year we got broken up a bit.

Look under street Modified SM class 9 total entries
NEC5 took 6,7,8 & 9..

The rest of us were in Novice class...28 Entries
NEC5 took 16, 18, 19, & 22

I hope I didn't forget anyone else....

The thing to look for is improvement every time out ... I'd say we did that, for the most part!

So I went and figured out about the total length of the course they layed out for us. I think the view below is pretty close to the layout as best as I can remember. Now given the times, we can get a good guess on how fast we were going.

Here is what I figured based on everyones best time:
Driver.....Best Time.....Average Speed
Charlie.....76.974...........59.7 mph
Nick.........81.77............56.2
Jason.......82.749..........55.5
Dave........79.916..........57.5
Alan.........81.195..........56.6
Jay..........82.262..........55.8
Larry........85.489..........53.7

I don't know...I gotta shake my head. I went back, and using the SCCA class list, my V6 (which again, I'll point out that I was the only V6 in our Camaro group, and I still held my own

) would be in the same class a the Mini Coopers? Those guys had nearly 20seconds on me! So much for sticking to my class next year, it's not worth it anyway! I guess those guys are just that good?
