2010 v6 auto hesistation problem

I have about 50,000 miles on my car and every now in then when I am in motion more so when I am in the process of turning the car it (CAR) becomes less responsive as if the pedal or throttle don't respond.

Only mods are an ijen CAI and Flowmasters. I use 91 octane when I can.

Is this a common issue or has this matter been addressed before and if so what is the remedy?

You have some high miles, but I think that's ok. Your saying your turning the car, from left to right or just one direction? Have you checked your power steering fluid?

When you apply complete pressure (to the floor) on the pedal does it stall? If it does, I would have a competent mechanic look at it.

If your just accelerating and the car feels limp or sluggish, I would check those connections between your CAI and perhaps look at the air filter too.

I have not encountered this problem, and I am tuned with mods.

Get a ported throttle body. $150 after core deposit is returned.

Hello!

I am sorry to hear this is happening with your vehicle. Have you had the vehicle diagnosed at your local dealership? I would be happy to get in contact with them and arrange an appointment for you. Feel free to send a private message at any time with your full contact information, VIN, and name of preferred dealership. Thank you!

Have you changed out your transmission fluid or you still running the factory slime? Mine did the same thing and worse and when i changed the fluid it never happened again. my car was a little over 47k when it started getting more noticeable with the lag and hesitation. It's covered under powertrain not bumper to bumper so your still good.

Hi SoCal Swagger,

I understand your concern about the warranty. We treat each situation on a case by case basis, and although we cannot guarantee that the issue will be covered under your warranty, we are happy to research further after a diagnosis has been made. Please let me know what you decide! I would be happy to schedule an appointment for you at your dealership.

Check all of the other items mentioned above first. How low is your fuel tank when this happens? I would do a scan for codes first. If all is OK, than do an transmission service, clean the throttle body and perform a seafoam or "other" internal cleaning. A set of spark plugs won't be a bad choice at this time either. I know they say plugs are good for 100,000 miles, but not in anything I own will I ever go that far on them. At 50,000 I would change the diff fluid also.
