More power to you guys. I'm trying to figure how much it will cost to put vvt on my ls3. Rhino is supposed to get back to me on my plan.

I'll pick up my 10second car after vacation.
I was really wanting to put VVT on my LS3 but I would have to flycut and I really didnt want to so I'm hoping for the best on an LS3 custom grind from him. The cam he has in mind should be pretty big!!! Ill be adding some 3.91 gears soon after.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

I got a quote from them a few months ago on doing the same. It's not much more. I was just worried about flycutting and not real sure but was worried it would weaken the pistons too much.

I feel good about this combo...he's been guiding me. CircleD stalling around 3600, 3.70 gears, 305/45 18 mt's, enough boost but keep it on 93 . This cam! I spent my time learning and reading cams...I know enough for people to talk/type and I can understand. VVT is really a no brainer if you think outside the txspeed box. No offense, I respect 'em. But really. Rhino has 100% GPI support and the products they are lining out look nice.

Sounds awesome... Rhino and GPI will be doing all of my work. If I don't find a local shop that I trust then ill be heading back up there to have them install my 3.91's.

Can anyone give me some insight on flycutting? I would really like to go with the VVT but as stated I'm worried about the flycutting.

Yeah. I'm going to try and take care of everything but the tuning and maybe flycutting myself. My quote should be a lot less! Flycutting really isn't a big deal if you can find a place that is set up to do it. TSP isn't too far away... I could even get it done ahead of time.

That dyno that he just posted in his baby cam thread looks nice. I may have a new favorite torque curve.

It's the magic of VVT and a bumpstick. GPI is thinking outside the box on the VVT cams compared to a couple others. But it all makes total sense once you see what cams work on a LS3 normally...you know what I'm saying? You just get a broader power band with VVT.
