We suggest putting the Valve at the bottom of the Hose so you can drain it from under the car while doing an oil change and it will minimize dripping after draining if the valve is at the bottom.

The valve I got from Home Depot swings 180 degrees. So I needed to make sure it was in the correct position before I screwed it on. In the position it came out of the package in the handle would have it the bottom of the can while opening it. Turning to the other size before screwing it on solve that though.

All I've gotten out of my RX catch can so far after 500 miles is condensate, not that I'm complaining.

Mount the ball valve to your frame easily accessable while doing oil change.

Drain Catch can from under car.

Gain Extra storage space for collected oil by the volume of the hose.
