dyno buzz killer
ok last nov i dynoed 669rwhp. only things ive changed were dss driveshaft and axles and nt05r drag radials and added meth. 50/50 it made 610. then added 3 more degrees of timing and made 615. given it was 90 degrees this most recent dyno we were still using the sae smoothing. where is the power going?

Did you have it re-tuned for the meth? Was this the same dyno, and if so, how far apart in time were the dyno runs.
If you just added meth and did not tune for it, thats fine as that what i did. I only run meth for the cooling. If meth is not tuned for you are running pretty rich and this will affect power quite a bit. My tune without the meth pump on I was at 11.0 AFR and i notice with the meth on nowadays the AFR drops to 10.2. Re dyno without the meth on if it concerns you that much

Belt slip? Find a nice straight piece of road, 3rd gear like 3k rpms, then stare at the boost gauge and hammer it. If boost comes up then "slips" down or shakes in place it could be the belt slipping? Just an idea, but there are lots of variables here.

To have cylinder wash happen dont you need Copious amounts of unburned wet fuel and several misfires to happen? I doubt with 9.5 lbs of boost that is likely....no?

Sounds like the meth isn't tuned correctly.

what kind of dyno? twin roller dyno? if so , drag radials can cause this loss in power. On our old dyno dynamics dyno we would encounter this all the time.
