Speed limits too low. safety or revenue ?

Hey folks, I recently got my camaro impounded in BC for excessive speeding ( I got busted speeding while passing a semi) , and while I was surfing the internet searching similar matters I came across this interesting video about speed limits in Canada, specially in BC, which says extremely low speed limits can be dangerous and that are also a huge revenue ! Watch the video and let me know your thoughts / opinions about this video/topic.

P.S i couldnt figure out how to post the video here, so here is the link to it, enjoy:

WOW.....most of the time the learners with the red plates are known for going too slow in BC. We all do 20 over so you must of really been sailing.!

i usually do 20 over, however, this time when i got busted, I passed those double semis on a short passing line and went up to 150 while passing, and thats when i got busted :( ....but oh well i guess we all learn from mistakes... next time i'll just wait for a longer passing lane

Great vid, thanks for posting. Think the only reason limits are not raised is for the cash flow, not safty. Exposed police = people slow down, Hidden police = money grab.
