Warranty

Can anyone tell me, if you install the Doug Thorley shoty headers and a Magnaflow Street Cat Back Exhaust does it void the factory warranty ? Also thinking about a cold air intake does it effect the warranty ?

Thanks,

If anything on your car breaks and can be directly related to the headers/exhuast or intake and the dealer can prove it then they wouldn't have to honor your warrnty request, otherwise your good to go. Thats about the simplest way to put it.

You best bet would be to go talk to the shop manager at the dealership and ask them. Some times they will let things go. Unless of course it is the after market parts fault the car is in the shop.

Good advice.
And isn't GM supposed to be coming out with some shorty headers of their own?
