Personally I don't like adding a badge to a car saying it's something it's not but I know a guy who added stuff to make it comparable to the RS package and hold no ill will against him, it's just a personal thing for me.
I just looked up a 2012 red camaro RS convertible. My car looks the same but I added different aftermarket halos from oracle. They look better than stock in my opinion. But this is a stupid argument. Nobody is going to notice. I don't have an obsession with camaros like a lot of you do.

lol this thread is hilarious. It's a stupid appearance package.

At least he went through the trouble of adding everything that was missing from the RS package. You guys take this way too seriously. Let him do what he wants to his car, it's funny how childish some of the responses are. Some people need to get their head out of their ass.

I agree let him do what he wants to his car because some here are adding ZL1 parts to theirs. At the end of the day who cares do what you want its your car.

I have a saying that I use in a case like this-what you eat does not make me s**t.

I have no problem with him putting the badge on the car. But don't put it there and try to defend to people that it's an RS or get upset when people tell you it's not an RS because it's not.

I can tell the difference from the Oracle to the factory lights, so I would know it's not one.

The 19's are also limited to 155 mph. The 2LT non-RS and 1LT non-RS with the factory installed option have it.

So you can tell the difference between a non-RS that upgraded and an RS that decided they liked the oracle lights better and changed? Just because you can tell it's not factory doesn't mean you can tell how it came from the factory without checking the VIN.

Some RS cars have taken off and/or modified stuff that came with the RS package, does that mean they should remove all the RS badges because they removed/changed the factory RS add ons so it's no longer really an RS?

Frankly, I don't care either way, but the guy didn't ask for your opinions on whether or not he SHOULD put the RS emblems on his car, he asked how COULD he do it.

Just score you one of these and put an emblem on it.

I don't understand why people get so hurt, I had the RS emblems on my v6 for a while and got crap for it. I didn't really car I never claimed it was a true RS and always told people I added that stuff after. Shoot half the time I was just trying to convince them it was a v6 and not a v8. haha. The only people that could ever tell were people that seen the build thread or people that seen my car prior.
I ended up changing it later to a 1LT emblem from emblepros and ended up like that way better. It was little more unique and if they weren't Camaro people they didn't know what was going on with it. Some thought it had an LT1 and sometimes I would just mess with em and say it was a Limited edition Turbo and they would totally believe me.
Do whatever you want just enjoy your car.
