Hey guys! Lone Star Camaro is putting on a car show on September 14, at Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in Ft. Worth.

All proceeds are benefiting Operation Homefront, who provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

We'd love to have you guys out there showing off your rides and helping support a great cause at the same time.

There will be several trophies to win including Best of Show, Bruce Lowrie's Pick, Operation Homefront's Choice, & Club Participation to name a few.

Just a quick update.. We'll have some items for raffles, auctions and free give-aways. One of the items that has been donated to us is a set of TSW wheels.

They are the hyper silver TSW Vortex 18 x 8 5-120 40HS; lugs and spacers will come with the wheels.

There IS a small scratch on ONE wheel, please see pictures below. These will be a DEAL for someone!!!

The wheel is the one with the scratch.

Don't forget, ALL money raised at the show goes to Operation Homefront! That includes the registration fees and all money received from raffles and auction items.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: In 2012, we met 151,150 needs for military families, including active duty, Guard and Reserve members from all branches of service. Since its inception, Operation Homefront has provided more than $128 million of funding to programs to benefit military families. Moreover, it has served more than 4,200 wounded warriors and their families.

KEY SERVICES: Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following:
Financial assistance
Emergency food
Emergency home repairs
Critical baby items: formula, food and diapers
Home and appliance repair
Furniture and household items
Local moving assistance
Community events
Wounded Warrior Transitional Family Housing

We have another item for our raffles. A set of custom painted bowties from River City Creations! Lupe does such great work and they'll be painted to your choice of color to match your Camaro's personality!
