would you buy a formally wrecked SS
found this ss on autotrader and the price was under 28K looked at the carfax and it showed this
"Accident reported Involving undercarriage impact It hit a mailbox It hit a curb Vehicle disabled Vehicle towed" In the photo's it looks pristine, has only 1732 miles on it and it is a 2010. would you consider it?

Probably not, that is just part of the story. Why if its as good as new is he selling it? Think about it. If you still want it take a knowledgable car guy with you ( if you are not one yourself) good luck.

If there is no structural damage, yes. I had an accident in my old (relatively) Camaro and they fixed it just like new. Wouldn't even have known it had been damaged. Take someone that knows cars and examine it. If it looks good and drives well, why not?

You can't necessarily tell if the frame or undercarriage is slightly out of line unless you can get it on a frame machine. You don't say what trim level or year, so asking if it's worth that kind of money is hard to say. The repair costs could make it not worth the hassle.

If it wasn't hurt why'd the previous owner dump it? For that price shop on...

If the car is going to be special to you & you are looking to keep the car for a long time & take good care of it then I'd say definitely not. But if it'd be a car that's just a car, then I don't think it matters as long as the car was repaired properly and was well done.

...Dunno about your state, but significant frame damage here would automatically require the title to show "salvage".....You wouldn't want that unless it was super cheap to buy....Be careful and keep shopping around...

Under 2000 miles on the OD and in a previous wreck, move on.

Once wrecked...its is NEVER 100%....maybe 95%...but not 100%
I would pass....there are plenty of camaro's to be had that haven't been wrecked.

It depends on a lot of things for me. If the damage was minor (which it sounds like it was) and the car is going to be a daily driver than I would buy it if the price is right. If it was in a major accident (structural damage) or if it is going to be your "special car" then I would pass.
