wow, you guys are kind of hard on making a decision without even looking at it. What if the owner was like some wealthy guy that doesn't want it because it does not have the orginial fender on it, and that's the reason? You may be getting a real deal on a great car that had minor damage that was easily repairable. Maybe you could walk away with it for 24K or something.

Then everyone would be like 'OMG, what a freakin deal'.

Best thing, go look, be skeptical, inspect, drive, test, look and then decide. Don't go by a bunch of die-hard camaro nuts that say ONLY PRISTINE is the way to go. Look how many people have little fender-benders on this site and decide to upgrade.

I will write down the names of all these people above, and for every post I see where someone hit a racoon or cat, I expect them to post "Sell it, not worth repairing, it's crap now, not even sure you would even acknowledge owning it at this point because there is a precious scratch on the fender".

Go check it out, test drive it, bring it to a shop of your choice, let them check it out with a microscope, if your mechanic approves and you like it haggle the price down.

For a driver?: No

Nope. That carfax report will follow that car. And you never know if it is fixed totally.

1) You don't want a car that has been driven only 31 miles per month over its life.
2) You can buy a non-broken 2010 Camaro SS for under $28k, easy.

It would have to be several grand less than that for me to even consider it. Consider that it is now a four year old car that has been wrecked to a point where it needed to be towed.

If it checks out to be in the shape you would expect a car with less than 2K miles on it, to be in... it might be worth $24K. No more.

I would and have bought wrecked camaros for one reason. Parts/donor car. I wouldn't buy a car that's had frame damage for something I would drive all the time. No way. And anyhow the asking price for that one is just stupid high. I'd pass on this one if I were you.

I'd offer $20k tops, and that assumes it's a 2SS/RS with everything working and repaired. Don't give them even close to what they're asking for a car like that.
