How am I shitting SNL? By stating an opinion and facts to back it up? IDK if they changed tuners since 2009 but I can name 2 of my real close buddys with ls2 GTOs with a lot of issues. Just because they pay to be here doesn't mean anything. Do a small serach on ls1tech. That is all I won't go back and forth on the subject just stating experiences that they had.

ADM is by far 1 of the most reputable and qualified tuners in ANY location! Andy is a very fair guy, and he will always make sure that you leave there with perfection! His shop is always hospital clean and never cluttered up. There will be 2 -5 cars there at all times getting work done from mild to WILD 1000hp+ builds.
He knows these cars inside and out and that enables him and Ben to get work done lightening fast!
Speaking of lightening fast, he has helped me get my car to the #1 spot on the Unofficial Fast List for Bolt Ons Only and this year we are on pace to break the record as the Worlds Fastest Bolt On Only 5th Gen!
What more can you ask for??

Who are your buddies exactly? We are on LS1tech as well, have changed tuners since then and are still in business though as evidence below in case you missed this thread...

Funny,

I've dug through every record from the Texas mile and talked to the people that run it, and have been there many times, and the fastest recorded Mile by any 5th gen Camaro to date has been 210.4, and that was last March...

When was this supposed 230 mph pass made, or was that a flat out top speed...on a distance more than a mile... Your talking 1500+ RWHP to go that fast. It takes about 1000 RWHP to hit 200 in the 5th Gen...

Funny, It's a small community of land speed racers, and I've never heard of this one, and certainly not at the Texas Mile... I've been there the last four runs, (2 years) and a shop out of Atlanta held the record for a 5th Gen at about 204, until last March.... and a guy in a convertible set the new record at 210.4.... I'll be breaking that in 4 weeks, but I would sure like to know when this supposed blast of amazement was made... and how no one else has heard of it... I'm not stating you're wrong, but it sure doesn't show up in there records and no one else I know has heard of it, including the organizers... Call me curious...

I will ask, it is a black 5th gen from Houston way over 1500rwhp on an RHS block. The Convertible that's a Billy Ray build is this one 210.9mph. Sam Miller is the tuner

Yeah, that car had a part of mine on it when he set the record... I just went back through all of the records back to March of 2009, when the Camaro was brand new to customers and there is no 5th Gen run anywhere near 230... MTI held the record until the car above broke it... 210.X, 204 something... 202, 201 and 197, 196 and then it's a big drop...

I know, I was there and informed the driver that he now officially held the 5th Gen record... He had an idler pulley from my car on it... See, I was there, and I've researched the records and I can promise there has not been anything close to a 230 mph run by a 5th Gen at the Texas Mile... or any other Mile I've researched...

Yeah you might have misread it^^^^ doesn't say a 5th gen went 230mph. He did indeed build a 1,500plus 2011 black camaro from Houston that was aiming for 220ish. I'm sure you know Billy (the Builder) think he'll be out this year again if you have questions about the black 5th gen IDK if that car will be going this year or not.

I didn't misread anything... "for his wild 230mph plus 2010 camaro and other Texas mile cars/trucks."

It doesn't get any more plain than that... 230mph plus 2010 Camaro and other Texas mile.....

Making misleading accusations to support something is dishonest... And why hasn't this Camaro been mentioned by any others I know from Houston... I know it's possible, by first hand experience... but cars of that caliber are well known in the small world of performance cars...

Was this a full on race car with a stripped out chassis, or is it a street car that still has all the amenities...A/C, Heated seats, AM/FM/XM etc...

relax man, don't shoot the messenger
I do know that convertible has plans of shooting for 220mph+ its harder than it sounds I know. Like stated these are words out of the builder/tuner and have good feelings on aiming their goal I hope to make the trip with them but we'll see.
