So I went tonight to the Mainstreet Cruisers Car Meet. There were 2 other 5th Gens there. The yellow w/ black stripes 2SS RS is a fellow member (bumblebee rules) and I don't know if the owner of the silver w/black stripes 2LT is a member on Camaro5. Anyway, it was cool to meet some fellow 5th Gen owners. There were quite a few people checking out the cars and taking pictures. We were there at about 9 pm, if we would have been there earlier around 7 there would have been even more ppl drooling over the cars.

And now, without further ado the pics I took. Mine is the Red one 2LT RS

GREAT Pic's Bluch ....... It was a fun night for sure, there was another Bumble Bee there before I showed up .. He did not stay, that's to bad, where's the next one now :-)

hey guys. just wondering what you guys are getting for gas mileage. I have about 1100 km on my car now and I am getting an average of 11.2 L / 100 km. This converts to 21 MPG. I have a 2LT. Note: I usually drive in the M position (sport mode withOUT paddleshift). I have driven to Westlock and Pigeon Lake. The rest has been city driving. I could probably get that number better, but I usually get it up to 4000 RPM when accelerating from stops. I mean, if you got a Camaro you can't Grandma accelerate from stop lights right? hahaha.

Just curious to see what you guys are getting for fuel economy??

i was at the show from 7:15 till about 8:45pm with the family......saw one other Camaro but had to leave.....last time i checked 17litre per 100km...but it's 2SS 6spd, can't just putt around!! pic's look great, Camaro drew alot of attention while i was there.. see you guy's sometime soon...

I have been getting 12.8/100 playing hard ... I did get 9.7/100 when we came into the city and back , kept it down under 130 on the hiway ... 6.2l and 6spd with 3800km's now ... I have done 2 oil changes and doing the "big" service at 5000km's , sould get better then LOL :-)

my car was parked at northlands outside of K-days! under some trees! so lucky that nothing fell on/into my car.....i was so worried walking back seeing branches and shit all over the place. my heart skipped a beat when I saw it untouched

Well, WTF? Ordered a black 2SS/RS with a 6-speed manual on Mar 24/09. I finally got my order number on July 15! Nicholson is not forthcoming with the info. I checked on my order on July 17 with GMCanada. They say there's a problem with the transmissions and my car is on hold. Some guys that ordered much later than I did have already received their cars, and mine doesn't even have a TPW yet! Unreal! It's barely worth it anymore. By the time I get my car, there will be thousands already on the road. I can probably find one for sale today if I tried hard enough. GMCanada says the cars on the line right now are Jan and Feb orders. BS! They can't even confirm my order date based on my order number? WTF? Something ain't right!

It might have something to do with alocation to the dealer ??? They get 2 v-6 cars to 1 v-8 car ??? Or maybe even a higher number ?? Not sure. I waited almost a year for Bumble Bee to show up , it was worth the wait though ... Keep the faith :-)

that sucks man. i dealt with nicholson chev as well. the sales manager always emailed me right back whenever i asked for my status or any other questions. my car came a little later than he originally told me. he told me end of may/beg. june and it finally came July 10. So about 1 month later than he first said. But he told me that original ETA before they even started making them....so i could understand that he didn't really know how fast they were gonna build and ship them.

i am sorry to hear you are having a bad experience. i don't know why they won't give you any information, they were very helpful to me
