If I get stopped for it I will attach it somehow, but I'm not drilling into my bumper because the state tells me to. I'm not going to deface my car for that.
Then get ready to deface your wallet....

Confused how you'd get pulled over and put it on.. are you saying you'd offer to the cop to let you get out of the car to install the plate? Methinks that you'd still have a 50/50 shot at a ticket.. maybe even more so because the cop would know it was premeditated! haha

It doesn't say both plates must have the samne characters! How about a chevy emblem plate or "camaro" plate? Still front and rear plates!

I got busted for this once.. got gas next to a trooper, tried to make small talk. He didn't want to make small talk. He left. Enter the onramp to the interstate, see him after about 30 seconds of driving. Totally driving the speed limit. I pass him, he lights me up. Comes over and starts talking about my car (had just purchased a Toyota MR2 Spyder) and is it fast, is the engine in the trunk, blah blah blah... He didn't want to talk to me at the gas pump but sure wanted to talk on the side of the road. I even asked him "Didn't I just see you at the gas station?" because I was suspecting it wasn't even him, maybe I was seeing shit... Then tells me he pulled me over because the front license plate was covered by a dealer advertisement and to take if off... was a weird stop.

I did this a couple of weeks ago... it was my solution to the front license plate law.
