I was told that the newer cars, 2013/14 come with the "strong" sensor, is this correct?

I just pulled mine on my 12 SS and it said K19 also. Only reason I checked is because I have some "bucking" at low rpms on my manual equipped car at certain times, and other times its fine. I did the fuse pull as well which helps initially, but the problem still persists at times. I also can feel a dead spot during hard acceleration while cruising 35-45 mph it seems. Some days the car runs like a beast, others not. Definitely a consitency issue somewhere on my SS. Think I'm going to order a new one just to be safe.
PS. My only mod is a CAI intake and exhaust at the moment.
