Anything faster than 14.00 usually but they might require one anyway

If you run 13.99 or quicker yes you need it no matter what. But if you don't want to go through the hassle of buying a helmet Anthony Rubano at RealWorldHorsePower will be there at the event renting helmets all night for real cheap!
