I'm getting SIM cause it really shows the lines well. I'm personally done with black cars. I love black and it's beautiful when it's clean, but it's a full time job to keep clean. Just ask yourself if you get black, are you going to be able to keep after it?

SIM, I originally was going black, but ended up with Silver and it is one of the smartest moves I have ever made.
I think it is the best color for the Camaro as nearly any color goes with it, it is easy to take care of, and it shows the body lines the best. |

I went thru the same thing. I went with SIM because seeing black on the road so far hasn't moved me at all. I have a Silver 98 z28, so now I will have 2 bullets!

I vote for SIM
Both colors are awesome
..... I've had two black Camaros, and they were BEAUTIFUL ( when they're clean ). I was also forever buffing the things..... I chose SIM for my 5th gen, because it highlights EVERY line / curve / angle  I can run an entire week without washing, and it still looks great

I wouldn't get black. It hides all the angles of the car. I would get SIM. We ordered Inferno Orange but SIM was my second choice. Check out this video of a SIM in action, it may help you make up your mind:

Been said plenty of times before, SIM shows the lines of the car better than any other color. Probably why GM uses the SIM in every advertisement I've seen.
