Stupid door ding...

Just like the title says, I got my first door ding today with just over 4000 miles on the car. Everyone says it's barely noticeable but it sticks out like a sore thumb to me.... Needless to say not happy at all I was just wondering what kinda coin I'm gonna be dropping to get it fixed. It's smaller than a dime with a little scuff(not sure how deep). It is however right on the crease in the door. Not sure if that makes a difference....anyway ya just needed to vent !

if it's that small and the car is a DD I wouldn't even bother. it's bound to happen again. unless it's a garage queen or show car that you want to keep immaculate I'd just live with it.

A PDR will charge around $100 for that. If you daily drive it you might want to wait until you get a few more which you can count on unless you make change's to your parking habits.

park away from everyone if you can. i do that. i would be totally pissed. Dr Dent here is what i have used on other cars. i have a 98 firebird i still park out in the south 40, and do the same with my new camaro. i always park in an end space too. people who ride with me bitch, but hey, its my car, and they can drive if they dont like it. and who dont need a little exercise anyway. it always kills me, how people at the health club fight for the closest space, when gee wiz folks, you gonna run or work out anyway. but, anyway, i always park far away and walk. door dings just a pet peeve of mine

New cars are magnets for dings. A jealous beater parks next to you and intentionally lets the door rip into the side of your car. My four year old Nissan Frontier has no dings yet. End spaces and away from other cars is my secret. Also don't park near cart corrals.

I always park away from everybody in a single stall yet I managed to get one a couple of weeks ago. I noticed it when I was washing it. BASTIDS!

OP, Paintless Dent Removal works great!! As long as there is no damage to the paint itself, you will never know it was there.

Park in the north forty. I still do that with my DD 2000 F250.....not a single ding on it. But....I have huge nurf bars and it's a pretty tall 4x4. Someone dings my SS....gonna be h3ll to pay. Walk to your destination, time is absolutely free.....

Yup. I stopped parking far away because, without fail, if I park way way out in BF Egypt I come back to my car and some beater is parked right up next to me. People do it just to be assholes.
