While in the paint mixing room ....I saw Nexa AutoColor signs on the walls.....I have been spraying that paint for the last 18 years...it must be good if it's on a COPO ...LOL

Don't know anything about the paint, other than there are a LOT of complaints about it from folks on here. Maybe GM just doesn't apply enough paint and clearcoat.
Perhaps the COPO gets more.

His buddy Dennis is a JEEP nut, he owns a shop that builds, restores and customizes them..not sure how his pockets got so deep?

He went in on the F40, COPO and has an extensive early American muscle collection. Nash, Healey, corvette, etc

the EBAY listing

Rare opportunity to own the 2013 COPO Camaro CRC Chassis #15 offered by Gas Monkey Garage. Winning Bidder will have the option of a solid White Car or the complete Gas Monkey Decal package. Chevrolet produced only 20 CRC Chassis for NHRA Sanctioned participation, These are sold with a BILL OF SALE only, no Title and therefore not street legal ( listed as having a clear Title as this is the most accurate description as required by eBay). This Auction is for the actual chassis #15,not a lottery spot or the option of ordering a car . You have the opportunity to complete the build with your choice of optional power plants according to class preference

This was my first time watching this show. My first Impression is the topic was interesting (Copo) but the people on the show are a bunch of clowns. Unless there is another topic that is super interesting, I won't be watching.

Not sure when they said anything about 425 HP. At the beginning I remember him saying 800 HP thou.

I usually think that's one of the better car shows on the toob... and I was happy at the end of the last season that it seemed like they knew they had the world by the ass and were just enjoying the ride. But I didn't enjoy the COPO show. Looks like they may be going Hollywood... and that makes me think 'American Chopper'. Those guy went all TV and grew too fast and just went south in a hurry.

I like the show, but this episode wasn't one of their better ones. The COPO build was boring.
