As for the TPMS light staying on, i'm sure if you are tuned, you can tune that out, but i'm not sure.
I feel basically the same as PMC. And TPMS has failed more for me than any good it has done. Heck I had a roofing nail (if you don't what they look like Picture a sword) in my rear driver side tire and TPMS never let me know it was leaking I knew because of the annoying clacking sound when there is something in your tire.

Even when someone slashed my dad's tire in his HHR TPMS never warned him about it

Your car not mine. Plus you never drive it anyway so it doesn't matter (joke)

I don't see the good thing about TPMS! It's just a pain in the @$$!

I guess you can say it will only be that way for about 2 years Because when I get new tires I will install them. I probably will give it another 2 years for tires and I guess you could say if the trend continues that will be less than 3,000 miles

I am going to start leaving for work at 7:30 each day. I am sick of sitting in traffic. I kind of want a condo downtown.

Yup and since most of us are out of warranty (bumper to bumper) they are not covered when they fail and they are expensive to replace. Between 30-40 dollars for the AC Delco ones and then the price to unmount and mount and balance the same tire. All in all almost a 100 dollars depending on where you live
