2010 2SS/RS + Z28 hood?

Am in love with the new SS, but miss the ram air hood. I think
the SS with the Z28 hood will be a great mod and can't wait to
get one with that set up. I wonder if the 2011 production series
will allow this dream to be fulfilled.

Man, I wish I could have gotten one for mine. I love that hood. Had a good Ram-Air hood on my Trans Am.

Loved the TA WS6 Ram Air Hood!!! One of the main reasons I bought one in 2002, plus they were discontinuing the car... Absolutely loved the look!!!

A ram air hood in addition to the fake mail slot will look silly.

I would look for Suncoast creations or SLP or maybe VFN to design one in the future..... Don't hold your breath on GM doing it for a "Z28". Keep your eyes open for it. I'm sure someone will make one.

I've seen a car on this forum (can't think of the aftermarket company name) that makes a filler for the mail slot. But if you got that filled in then a RAM-air hood,... that'll be sweet.

I, too, wouldn't have a problem with having two slots on the face of the car. Maybe we're in the minority.

I would also look at http://www.rksport.com to come out with a ram air hood, GFX, spoilers, and other cosmetic upgrades. They are a great company and produce top notch stuff. I had a functional ram air hood from them for my cav and it was great.

That filler looks awful IMO, the visible lines ruin the look. I'm wondering what the Z hood and mailslot would look like together. Too bad neither are functional.... I used to make fun of the Mustang's for years since they weren't real either.
