Tpms reprogram procedure question.

So I installed my winters today and I tried getting the sensors to be recognized. I may have screwed it up not sure. But I found this video which explains how to do it easily.

And there are a few diys on this for the 2010s. Pretty basic procedure I assumed. My question is though will this procedure work if I have new sensor? Cause right now I purchased a second set of sensors that are in my new snow tires and rims. I have two sets of individually mounted rims and tires, one summer set (factory rims, sensors & tires) and a winter set (aftermarket rims, another set of sensors from factory & snow tires). Can I program in my new sensors without going to the dealer?

Thanks guys,

Check your owners manual. Don't forget to put the parking brake n or it will not work.

Yeah I did that and got it into the learning mode. But it didn't pick up my driver side tire for some reason.
