Ive been working in a auto plant for 12 years now and am still amazed how much goes into building a car. The amount of parts put into a car to make it all work really is impressive.

In 1999 I was driving a semi-truck for a living, and had a load of windshields to deliver to the GM Oshawa plant. I had a little fender bender (for the parked car, not my truck), in a strip mall parking lot where I had parked to rest until the plant opened. I did make the delivery but little did I know, 10 yrs or so later I would be on the edge of my seat waiting for the same building to hatch my new Camaro!

I used to work for Ryder I know they made some trips to that place neat to see pics.

Just for the record , the picture at the opening of this thread in NOT a picture of The Oshawa GM Camaro Plant ! I'm not sure what plant is pictured

but it's 100% not the Autoplex. Other then that ...yes its huge .

Wonder where "The Blur" people came from...I always suspected that Canadians looked somewhat like Americans but I guess I was wrong.
