I will post my 18" DR's for sale if anyone is interested. I really don't think they were bad for my car with the NOS but I know the 16's are better.

Could be, I tried those and found them to be just to be and heavy for our V6, way more tire than we need.






I would try the Mickey Thompson Drag Radial. Go with the 265/40/18. This is what I am currently using. Get the benifit of a gear change with this since it is a smaller dia. This is plenty of tire for us. I bought the set-up used from a friend who was running a modded SS, and this was plenty of tire for him too.

This was my first run I made with the car (my dad took it for a trip down the track first and went 14.529 @ 96.14).

Nice run with your stock set-up.

You can cut even more time by getting a better 60'.

WE have found that those stock Pirellis, require some heat. Do a burnout and getting them warmer.

Should be able to cut a 2.0X time which can drop you as much as 0.4 at the big end, compared to your pass you posted.
