Long answer, the test car was sent to Tracy at rx performance. Who ruined the testing. Gains of 30 hp were seen until Tracy put on his ported heads and 60 hp was lost. Don't know what happened but yea. There's another thread u can read on it. I'll find it in a bit
Doesn't surprise me. Hate to hear these stories are still occuring. Rx messed up my car bad with just about everything. Cams didn't work properly, heads were messed up and a list of other Sh_t as well. Spent thousands just to get her back up and running. My two cents... get a Attorney immediately.

Good luck yellowglide I hope you get your money back.

Considering elsololobo also had cams and got screwed over, I guess yellowglide wasn't the last. But I hope no one else has to go through the "rx experience"

This is why we leave C5 Cards on peoples windshields so they hopefully see whats going on before they get screwed.

So why would the car lose 60hp with ported heads?

Because none of his half baked schemes are tested and developed properly. He stretches the truth about his products. There are not hundreds of hours invested into R&D. All R&D is done on OUR cars. When you drop your car off at RX to get work done, your car magically becomes an RX test mule for not only the "turnkey turbo" kit but maybe he might test a few other products out on your car as well. It cuts costs for him and what you don't know ain't ever gonna hurt you right? This is what I like to call getting RX'd™. Tracy is the master of screwing ppl over and then crying victim. When in fact he's never the one out any money.

Now he's over on the caddy forums lying about how omazing his "turnkey" FI kits are and how he has cams for these motors etc etc and how he's the world leader in CTS FI. Sound familiar?

He moves into a market place, rapes it, gets found out, gets kicked out and then moves onto the next batch of suckers.

He screwed our V6 community bad.

Can't say for certain, on a AMC 1970 and later heads, if you touch the floor of the port, it will flow worse. It was designed to have that ramp on the floor of the port on AMCs. May be the same on our engines as they may have the shape there for a reason. Bench flowing for the correct porting would be expensive. RX may have just ported the heads and put it on a dyno without flow testing. That is just a guess. I will say that Tracy took three calls from to help me with questions regarding changing out the timing chains on my Camaro. Even went out and put a mechanic on the phone for chain alignments.

It might not be about absolute flow though. Tracy could have well had the heads ported, and they might flow better on a bench, but that doesn't necessarily translate into more power on an engine. These engines are incredibly tuned, producing damned near 90 HP per litre. He could have opened the heads up a bunch, and screwed with intake and exhaust velocities, and destroyed scavenging or something like that. Or, if the intake velocity falls too much, it might switch to laminar flow, or be laminar flow for longer, and not get mixed with the fuel as well, resulting in poor combustion at high RPM's.

Clearly, something went wrong. Any of us are just going to be speculating with various levels of expertise. The main point is: He screwed people over hard.

That's sad if that's the case. At least in this day in age with "immediate information" hopefully it won't be long until he's found out.

For the time being the mods over there seem to be giving him cover which is sad. No forum owner wants the drama but in cases like these, a little investigative work would go a long way. Tracy has screwed C5 members out of 10's of thousands of dollars with his poorly developed cams, heads, FI kits and other parts.

Howdy boys - how y'all been?? LOL, thought this would have been buried out back with Jimmy by now. Haven't been on the forums much lately but have been in touch with a few. So my big news is:
- Tuner called today - we're looking at the second week in November for me to take a road trip for a dyno / tune session to see where the car is at.
- Getting new carbon blockers for 1-2 and 3-4, at my expense. Yippee.
- May get a 4th grind on the cam.
- If going to get a 4th grind, will do a head swap back to stock at the same time.

If your curious to what's been consuming my time lately, take a look at my latest upgrade. Yep, "Titanium, just like the space shuttle..."
