Had some issues with the car nosing over in the higher RPMs (will touch on that in a sec) but did manage to get a 10.88 @ 123 mph (MPH is off by 3mph) with a 1.53 60'. I cut a 1.48 60' first pass out but it acted up on me. Without a doubt with the 60' I cut and with better DA the car is in the 10.6 range. The Wolfe Racecraft anti-roll bar worked awesome but like everything in racing "You get one thing figured out and something else pops up"

That something else appears after doing some research to be valve float. I have never experienced it before but when you run a high duration high lift cam the valvesprings dont last like OEM ones. It explains why the car felt like it had air in the nitrous lines as the rpms would dip or just stop climbing but the car wasnt breaking up like a bad plug or ignition issue. My current springs have been with this cam in my car for about 4 years. Before that the cam and springs were in my buddies 408 for about 6mo before he went radical with it. These springs only have a MAX life of 4yrs, so I am due for a change. Called up BTR (Brian Tooley Racing) and he has a direct replacement set of springs that allows me to keep my locks/retainers. 149$ shipped. Not a bad price at all, just a good weekend of labor to swap them out. That should take care of the issue. If not then who the hell knows whats going on. I will probably be hitting the dyno if it persists.

Hey Justins00ss I ran at SGMS temps was in the low 60s high 50s and I ran 2 10.71 and a 10.57 that was the week before. The best I could ran this past Friday was a 11.02 and 11.06. I would think if you ran at SGMS with the low temps you be below 10.50 with your set up.

Its a good possibility. Just need to get the new springs and wait for cool weather. Don't forget that a blower car is more effected by the weather than a nitrous car. I have DA in a bottle. Not sure if I would see that drastic of a change. Only one way to find out.

Thank you again to everyone who came out to the event! We had a great time and hopefully all of you did also! I apologize for the delay in the video, I just wanted it perfect. It was a great event and a huge success so the video needed to represent that!

So without further delay… the official video for Treasure Coast Camaro 5's track night! ...

**Christmas Party Information**

It's getting closer to the holidays and our yearly Christmas party! I wanted to take a "poll" from everyone about a potential date for the party. Our usual restaurant Tutto Fresco currently has only Dec 20th or 21st open. How does everyone feel about either of those dates? We are debating alternatives just in case so it would be great to get feedback from everyone!
