Also I noticed your MAF housing has the sensor pointing back, correct orientation should have it pointing up as instructed in Step 8 of the instructions. This will allow for better fitment, and more importantly is how we tested the system. Rotating the housing so that the MAF is pointed any direction other than up can effect airflow which can effect MAF readings, thanks! You may also want to try and push your filter on a bit more, it should pretty much go right up against the weld for the MAF sensor.

Mentioned in the instructions is a ground wire and 2 ww hoses that run under the box, the ground wire being held by a clip on one of the mounting studs. I have no ground wire and one ww hose, which is held by the clip. Anyone else have this? Could this be something associated with verts for some reason? Was test car a '12 or '13? Wouldn't expect it to have any bearing on the install. Just wondering where the discrepancy comes from.

I'm really not sure, but it won't matter or effect anything. It was just pointed out in the instructions so if you do have them you know what to do with them.

I have turned it, but it's not at perfect 12 o clock very very close. It may just be the picture, but that filter can't go any further lol. I have driven it and all I have to say is I love that whine so much. Can't keep my foot out of it haha

Got mine yesterday, but it's too cold to drive the ZL1 now.

Will have to wait till it's in the 50's this weekend to install and drive.

Sorry we beat you guys up a little Bill! Sometimes waiting for quality is the hardest part.

Thanks for all your efforts!

UPS dropped mine off last night; I know what I will be doing this weekend and with temps near 70 on the weekend I will be testing the system out.

That is a real bummer man, let us know if you need to call UPS or anything for you. Hopefully it shows up really soon!

Got mine installed last night. Went pretty well. Of course by the time I got it on it started raining so didn't get to try it until this morning. Naturally, temp was only 31 so didn't get to really try it out. Maybe on the way home. Everything seems to work ok and no codes. Heading for an 1100 mile round trip to VA tomorrow so hopefully will be able to put it through it's paces.

One thing about the install though. The harness that runs along the end of the radiator will likely need to be re-located. This is the harness that goes to the MAF sensor, the throttle body, and a sensor to a hard line (AC maybe?) under the upper radiator hose. This harness on my car runs by the radiator end cap about 3-4 inches from the top and really prevented me from adjusting the box much and kind of had it in a bind to where the lid did not want to go on. (harness in pic between box and AC line). After zooming in on fig 13 in a pdf of the instructions, the test car had this harness routed on top of the radiator end cap. After talking to Bill this morning, this is in fact the case with the test car. (Thanks for the help, Bill) I went out this morning and was able to dis-connect the MAF and AC plugs and re-route the harness in this manner. The AC plug was kind of tight going back on but after a few minutes it went. I still didn't have enough slack on the MAF harness to go under the tube so I went over and connected it from the front. End result is I now have the room between the box and the radiator end cap to position the box to make the lid fit more easily. Maybe not everyone will run into this, but if you do, this is the fix. Good luck with your installs and thanks CAI for another great product.
