These NW102 C5 stepper motor tb's are still going strong for me. Made 1296rwhp with a 4.2 KB and a little nitrous. Not a single problem making that power or running 217.0 mph in the Texas mile.
After 12 runs in the mile ,countless street driven miles and 42 1000+rwhp dyno runs it has not once went into REP mode.
The TPIS is just as bad as the NW 102MM new style tb.

TPIS has had my TB for over a month trying to figure out what's wrong with it.

That's how it goes. I went through a half dozen before I got one that was mint. At one time I tried 5 different ones and all 5 had different issues. This was all in 15 minutes.

Damn my buddy has on on a built LSA in his G8. First one worked perfect. I went through 3 before I got one that worked great.

We sent our NW102 back last year for rebuild. Tested it this summer after installing our new 427 and it failed after a day on the street before we got it to the track. Once pulled off the mechanics appear sticking manually, so not sure if something internally came apart or ?
The TB will go back and hopefully refund or rebuild and use it on a NA car.

This was a few years ago before these were available. I had everyone they had produced at the time. Part of the learnig curve. I have a great one now. Just a problem keeping the engines together!! Lol

Ha! No problem. All I did was supply the car and make many wasted trips to the track for testing.
