I have a 2012 45th. It's a 2SS/RS. The badge is a red and chrome SS, and they came this way. Is that an imposter from the factory as an RS?

The only mod I did was pull the argent trim rings off and put chrome center caps on my black ralley wheels.

A couple of people have commented that it resembles the police version of a Dodge Charger.

What? How can your 2SS/RS be a factory imposter if it has the red SS emblems? That's the way it's supposed to be....

I was under the impression to be an RS, it needed RS badging. Like the old SS/RS

Have hood plastidipped matte black and have ZL1 front end (COMPLETE AWESOMENESS)

Feel no dirty, car is not badged differently, just dig the look, and the looks im getting for this, lol.

I am pretty sure the old RS/SS cars still just had SS badges. Not both.

As petty as it sounds, I want to replace the plain Factory Short-Throw Shifter Emblem with a Hurst Emblem.

Oh I am in the worst offender. I have a 1LS with eagle eye headlights with soon to be Auxilary Guages and with a heads up Display and a ZL1 steering wheel. I am going to get the ZL1 spoiler (with the lights) I am also looking into getting the quad exhaust like the ZL1 and I am thinking of getting the SS front bumper or a ZL1 bumper. So it is going to be very unique for an V6.

I have a 1LS that I put a SS steering wheel in. I wanted the leather wrap and could get it at a good price. So I have the SS on the steering wheel. I also changed to a leather shift knob. I just like the leather better than the rubber. Nothing on the outside to make it appear to be an SS.

I have a 2012 but not a 45th anniversary edition. I really liked those 45th badges but I wanted my Camaro to be black without those vinyl stripes so I have 2 45th edition badges. Technically 2012 is the 45th anniversary still

That looks cool. I am going to be sorta impostering my Camaro as an SLP non-ZL edition. (I have SLP chrome wheels, SLP ZL rear spoiler, SLP ZL splitter, and SLP skip shift delete. I am adding a chrome SLP emblem to the driver's side of my trunk lid.

SLP= SLEEPER EDITION in this case.
